I Have a Story

I told you that I have a story, if you have  the time to listen.  I feel my lifes been a tragedy, there is so much that I've been missing.  Then the day that you had came dear was the day that my life changed and; now I know that there is something precious that I have yet to find.  maybe it seems so foolish to others, but I know I have to do it.  Staring fear and doubt in the face, but I know that God will see me through it.  

When the darkness starts to chase me, I refuse to start the running.  I will do this all in faith, and there is no more use for the numbing.  With the Alcohol  and drugs dear, I will do it all awake now.  " Lots of elbow grease " they tell me, while I'm wiping away the sweat from my brow.  Someday I'll be victorious, but as long as I keep on trucking.  I know its worth the fight cause, I know I'm really something; ( Worth fighting for. )
