| Becker - Anne |
Anne Becker is a writer, teacher and former producer of literary audiocassettes and radio programming. Her book The Transmutation Notebooks: Poems in the Voices of Charles and Emma Darwin was published by Forest Woods Media in 1996. Becker's poems have appeared in Antioch Review, Southern Poetry Review, Gargoyle Magazine, Washington Jewish Week, The Audubon Naturalist News, and other journals and anthologies. In 2007, her chapbook, The Good Body, was published by Finishing Line Press, fall, 2007. Presently, she teaches at the Writer's Center in Bethesda, Maryland, in the Poets-in-the-Schools program, and provides poetry tutorials. Since 2001 she has conducted Writing the Body, an ongoing poetry workshop for those with experience of life-threatening illness or chronic conditions, either as patients, caregivers, or family members. She currently serves as Poet Laureate for Takoma Park, MD. |

Dr. Breeskin, who prefers to be called Sparky, likes to think of himself as a 73 year old poet. He brings his experience as clinical
psychologist, professor, son, father, and lover into his poetry and

"Just Ron" aka Ron Burke is a 36 yr old husband and father of three, he is an Admissions Officer for a local University and writes poetry and stories at night. In 2001, Just Ron self-published a book of poems, Seasons of Love, f or his (now) wife Tonya (it worked!)
